The Hunt & Chase, now closed, was located on 107 S. Pennsylvania Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. The establishment, owned by Fred Cooney, featured three floors and and a three bar disco once hailing as Indiana’s premier bar and night spot. The venue opened in approximately 1975 and closed in September of 1982 likely due to competition at nearby Talbott Street according to an article in the Indianapolis Star, but there are reports that the venue was still opened on limited days through at least 1983.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The establishment was also host to the Miss Gay Indiana America pageant from 1979 through 1982.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
