Grand Central, now closed, was located at 1001 N. Charles Street in Baltimore, Maryland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The venue started as Central Station Pub in 1991 when Don Davis bought the property at the 1001 N. Charles Street address. In 2003, Don bought the next door bar called Stagecoach<\/a> at 1003 N. Charles Street and combined the spaces to create the new Grand Central. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Grand Central: Statement on Closing<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On September 3rd of 2020, the following statement was made on the bar’s Facebook page:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After over 30 years of serving the community, Grand Central sadly has shut its doors. Given the overwhelming challenges created by the pandemic and our beverage-only driven business, the operations were not sustainable as we prepare for the next chapter. We appreciate all of our customers and supporters and thank them for their long-time loyalty; we look forward to celebrating the institution\u2019s legacy in the future development. We strongly believe in the Mt. Vernon community and will always drive to be stewards of quality, growth and retention to ensure the neighborhood\u2019s character stays true to form.<\/p>The Management Team<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
