Julie Newmar&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In 2001, Candis won the Miss Continental pageant and toured the US participating in the pageant circle. \u00a0By 2007, Candis starred in a new movie titled &#8216;Starbooty&#8217;. \u00a0From 2007-2008, Candis starred in the ABC drama &#8216;Dirty Sexy Money&#8217;. \u00a0Many consider Candis a pioneer and inspiration to transgendered women. \u00a0Her contributions have truly paved the way for those the GLBT community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration:
