Rachel Wells was the illusion behind the amazing John Greenwell.  During the 70’s, Rachel worked out of Atlanta, Georgia where she was featured at places like Sweet Gum Head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1978, Rachel won the coveted title of Miss Gay America 1979 and was quickly a favorite in the drag circuit.   Now retired from performing, John is still involved with the America system by serving as a judge from time to time.  John is also an accomplished author and playwright.  In 2013, he published the book “Who the Hell is Rachel Wells?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
