Basia was a well loved entertainer who was active in the Black America, Continental and Duval pageantry systems. She is remembered for her amazing “Liza NY” and “Car Wash” talents that she performed in pageants. She is also often remembered as a queen with perseverance and dedication. We sadly lost Basia in 2002. She was a true gem that is sorely missed by her many fans.
Basia also performed as Emanuel Corday and was the first ever Mr. Duval.
