Ginger Ale

Ginger Ale

Ginger Ale is an entertainer out of Indianapolis, Indiana.  Ginger got her start performing in November of 2005 at Roscoe’s in Chicago, Illinois.  Ginger says she has a long list of inspirations which include: Kelexis Davenport, Whitney Paige, India Black, Dena Cass, Alyssa Edwards, Asia O’Hara, and Mahogany Knight.

Ginger also does a lot fundraising for the Indiana AIDS Fund, as well as the Greg’s DEFA Fund in Indianapolis.  In August of 2009, Ginger revealed she is in the works to start the big sister program, which is where people that have been living with HIV and AIDS for a period of time and who live a healthy life serve as mentors for people just being diagnosed.  Ginger states: “HIV is not a death sentence, we need to get the education out there… and make sure people are taking the proper steps to living a healthy life.”

Truly, Ginger is a class act and a wonderful symbol of excellence for Indiana.  She lives to entertain and her passion to the community is inspiring.
