Alec Mapa is an actor, comedian and writer living in Los Angeles, California.
Alec got his first professional break when he was cast to replace B.D. Wong for the role of Song Liling in the Broadway production of M. Butterfly. Also an accomplished stand-up comedian, Alec has taken his gift of commanding an audience by hosting many live events and specials.
Known for his regular roles in television shows like Desperate Housewives, Half & Half and Ugly Betty, Alec has also guest starred in over 40 television series. Additionally he starred on the big screen in films like Connie and Carla, Playing By Heart, Marley & Me and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan.
