540 Club, now closed and sometimes referred to as the 540 Eagle, was located at 540 Walnut Avenue N.E.
Larry Loveless opened the bar in 1977 and ran it through 1996 when it was sold to Jamie Bartrug. Jamie operated the historic bar until a June 2005 fire that gutted the building. The structure was razed shortly after and never reopened.
